Irepairsega would know best how to go about handling this, but I'm already passing along his information. the old block was kinda corroded, I eliminated a lot of the voltage loss by wiring straight to the power supply. In fact the cabinet may already use those, I know the Virtua Cop we had did, I actually did away with them and the original power supply and used an AT PowerPro instead. you may need to use parts like this to make it easier: You may have a little tough time adapting all those wires to those 9 pin molex plugs the power supply uses. yellow is +5, red is +12, brown is +3.3, and white is ground. Something to be mindful of is Sega's wiring colors are entirely different than everyone else. they're in Jersey, you would get that pretty fast I think.
